When it comes to event venues, it’s hard to get much more “Nashville” than a recording studio on those two little one-way streets known as Music Row.
Ocean Way Nashville is a fully functioning commercial recording studio built into a 100-year-old Gothic revival stone church. Now owned by nearby Belmont University, it also serves as an educational tool for the school’s College of Entertainment and Music Business. It has been a part of recordings by everyone from Willie Nelson and Taylor Swift to No Doubt and The Raconteurs. The studios have also housed the scoring for numerous film and video game projects. Haven’t you heard–Nashville is a hub for more than just country music these days 😉
